Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Music Therapist to deliver therapeutic music interventions aligned with each patient’s care plan. The role focuses on enhancing comfort, emotional well-being, and quality of life for patients and families in challenging times.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Music Therapy with MT-BT or equivalent certification, pass background checks, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while documenting sessions promptly and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BT), National Music Therapy Registry, or American Music Therapy Association certification.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and document sessions promptly.
