Job summary

Guitar Center in Myrtle Beach seeks an Operations Manager to lead a team ensuring merchandise is received, stocked, and merchandised according to planograms and standards. You will foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect while driving store performance.

The role emphasizes delegation, initiative, strong communication, organization, and people leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend/evening work is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse settings.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager and management team to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels within the department including hire and train the operations associates.
• Assist in training all levels of operations associates.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other store related items.
• Warehouse organization and stocking and maintenance of the facility.
• Loss prevention and safety, inventory management, cash management, and business reporting.
• Conduct standardized signage/pricing audits on a weekly basis, ensuring product is merchandised to planogram standards.
