Job summary

Guitar Center in Medford, OR is seeking an Operations Manager who will lead the team responsible for receiving, stocking, merchandising per planograms, and upholding our culture of integrity and passion for music. You will partner with Store Manager to hit EBITDA and margin targets, oversee staffing and training, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and safety.

The role requires 3+ years retail or warehouse experience and ability to lift 50 lbs, with weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse settings.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels within the department including hire and train the operations associates.
• Assist in training all level of operations associates.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other store related items.
• Warehouse organization and stocking and Maintenance of the facility.
• Loss prevention and safety, inventory management, cash management, and business reporting.
• Conduct standardized signage/pricing audits on a weekly basis, ensuring product is merchandised to planogram standards.
• Driving sales by acting manager in charge when necessary.
• Opening and closing of the store.
• Additional duties as assigned.
