Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the team responsible for receiving, stocking, and merchandising merchandise according to planograms and promotions. The role emphasizes integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect while driving store performance.

The candidate will manage staffing, training, shipping/receiving, inventory controls, and loss prevention, with a focus on delivering strong customer experiences and sales results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse setting.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels, including hiring and training operations associates.
• Oversee shipping and receiving of gear and store items.
• Maintain warehouse organization, stocking, and facility maintenance.
• Conduct loss prevention, safety, inventory management, cash management, and reporting.
• Audit signage and pricing to planogram standards weekly.
