Job summary

The Johnson Museum of Art in Ithaca is seeking a part-time Temporary Visitor Services Associate to support front-desk operations and daily visitor services. The role includes greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and assisting with event scheduling using 25Live. This is a 3-month position with potential extension.

You will work up to 19 hours per week on-site, including weekdays, evenings, or weekends. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide information at the front desk.
• Answer and route calls on a multi-line telephone system.
• Log activities and maintain daily logs for operations.
• Distribute keys and access cards as needed.
• Maintain museum parking and maintenance logs.
• Monitor lobby and surroundings; support opening/closing procedures.
• Assist the development team with events using 25Live.
