Job summary

Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute is seeking a Business Operations Manager to lead the museum’s business, financial and HR operations at the ASU Art Museum in Tempe. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, procurement, travel, payroll, and internal controls.

Reporting to the Director, you will develop sustainable staffing plans, coordinate with university partners, and drive process improvements while ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the museum’s day-to-day business operations.
• Supervise the Business Operations Specialist and other personnel, including prioritizing, delegating, reviewing work and development.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to museum leadership regarding resource allocation and priorities.
• Coordinate procurement, travel and administrative processes with university offices and vendors.
• Develop and maintain financial procedures, internal controls and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
