Job summary

Qualifications

  • College degree or technical certification in a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of facilities maintenance/management experience.
  • Experience maintaining HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with computerized building automation systems.
  • Carpentry skills preferred in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual facilities plans including capital improvements and maintenance.
  • Support central plant operation: chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, HVAC equipment.
  • Serve as primary Facilities contact for maintenance and records.
  • Oversee event setup/breakdown for Museum events as needed.
  • Act as facility emergencies contact.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay current in facilities management.
  • Ensure prompt responses to department requests.
  • Preserve Museum aesthetics through knowledge of building operations.
  • Assist Senior Leadership with additional duties.
