Job summary

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is seeking an experienced Engineering Shop Supervising Maintainer to oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting work across Museum facilities. You will assign daily tasks, track materials, and report to management while maintaining mission-critical environments.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a NYC Refrigeration Operator's License, and at least three years in museum maintenance with centrifugal chillers.

Qualifications

• Valid NYC Refrigeration Operator's License required.
• Experience supervising Maintainers preferred.
• Familiarity with centrifugal chillers and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and schedule daily work.

• Respond to emergencies and monitor BMS alarms.
