Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC, MEP, Lighting and/or automation control systems
• Intermediate understanding of Information Technology, Networking, and Audio/Video
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills; positive attitude
• Experience in level 5 finishes and/or working in 5-star hotel or museum atmosphere
• Excellent knowledge of general office procedures; intermediate knowledge of smartphones and computers
• Excellent time management; ability to coordinate multiple projects
• Keen attention to detail and dependability
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Partner with House Manager, Estate Manager and Facilities Director to meet objectives
• Provide complete facility systems support with team members
• Help manage all building systems, fixtures and oversee contract supervisors to meet objectives
• Focus on HVAC, Networking, Lutron and Audio/Video in a commercial museum environment
• Perform daily and weekly inspections to ensure systems and aesthetics are optimal
• Coordinate maintenance and service on control and HVAC, lighting and shade systems
• Coordinate with IT to support video, PC and networked systems
• Oversee contractor processes from proposals to project completion and safety
• Coordinate protection and care of Art and luxury finishes
• Report quality issues to appropriate departments and rectify them
• Advise on budget planning and strategic goals
• Maintain on-call responsiveness for facility needs
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations for facility personnel
