Job summary

Miami Children's Museum is seeking a friendly Museum Ticket Sales Associate at our on-site admissions desk in Miami, FL. You will greet visitors, assist with admissions, and promote membership programs to help families start their visit with a great experience.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service or sales experience, comfortable with POS systems, and strong communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist a diverse guest base.

Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable customer service and/or sales experience.
• Experience using modern sales techniques and point-of-sale equipment.
• A positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to working with the public.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Dependability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
• Assist guests with purchasing Museum admission tickets.
• Open, operate, and close the point-of-sale system.
• Reconcile cash drawers accurately at the end of the day.
• Share the benefits of Museum membership and encourage membership purchases.
• Enter membership information into the Altru database.
• Answer phone calls and provide helpful information to visitors.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout every interaction.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
