Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to support the maintenance and readiness of housing communities. You will handle routine repairs across HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and more, with potential assignments making ready vacated units and addressing emergencies.

Driving may be required, and growth to lead a team is expected at Level 3. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and ability to work outdoors in all weather, with strong safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, up to 50 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs occasionally.
• Team player with attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Basic computer knowledge; daily use of technology platforms.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Basic understanding of safety practices.
• Driver's License, Valid and in-State Required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests including furnaces, air-conditioning systems, appliances, water heaters, and other maintenance items.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, locksmith).
• Responds to service requests with excellent customer service and documents work per policy.
• Maintains equipment and tools in ready repair.
• Follows proper use of equipment and PPE.
• Follows preventive maintenance program and performs required maintenance (e.g., filters).
• Assists in making ready vacated units (painting, repairs, flooring, fixture replacement).
• Performs emergency maintenance (sewage backups, water leaks, fires, weather damage).
• Ensures unsafe conditions are corrected timely.
• May drive company or personal vehicles for work more than 50% of the time.
• Level 3 mentors a team and assists others with troubleshooting.
