Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks Maintenance Technicians at Levels I–III to support housing communities. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep, often outdoors and in attics or crawl spaces.

Travel between units and office sites may be required depending on assignment. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work.
• Must interact well with diverse people and communicate clearly.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer knowledge and daily use of tech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for furnaces, AC systems, appliances, water heaters and plumbing.
• Perform skilled work in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, locksmith).
• Document all work per company policy and maintain equipment.
• Follow safety and PPE guidelines and preventive maintenance program.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units, including painting and flooring tasks.
• Perform emergency maintenance and address leaks or weather-related damage.
• Mentor Level 3 technicians and support team as needed.
