Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities. You'll perform routine repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, often outdoors, and assist in getting units ready for occupancy. You will document work and follow safety procedures daily.

Level 3 may involve mentoring a team and leading maintenance operations. EPA 608 certification is required for higher levels within 180 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• DL number: valid drivers license in state.
• Basic computer knowledge; daily use of technology platforms.
• Reliable and punctual with good attendance.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building maintenance items.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades with basic troubleshooting.
• Documents all work in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains equipment and tools in ready repair.
• Follows proper PPE usage and safety practices.
• Performs preventive maintenance and makes ready vacated units as needed.
• Handles emergency maintenance tasks as required.
• Mentors Level 1 technicians; supports team efficiency.
