Metro Property Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join the team. The role involves completing work orders, performing general home and apartment repairs, and utilizing knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Availability for an on-call schedule and safety-conscious, detail-oriented work are essential. The position offers a rotating 4/10 work schedule, a structured workweek, and opportunities to contribute to building maintenance projects across properties.

Qualifications

• General home repair knowledge and experience required.
• General electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge is a plus.
• HVAC experience is not required but is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform general home and apartment repairs and maintenance.
• Utilize basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine the appropriate repair or solution.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while completing repairs.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as part of a rotating On-Call schedule.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and maintenance standards.
• Take pride in the quality and appearance of completed work.
