Job summary

MetroPlains Management, LLC seeks an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to handle residential work orders, including heating, cooling, plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks across multiple properties. You will work independently to complete repairs and upkeep while maintaining quality and safety.

You must have your own tools, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work extended hours and on-call evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education with 1-2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, EPA Universal, Boilers License and/or Pool Certification preferred.
• Must have own hand tools, valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance.
• May work extended hours and weekends; on-call evenings and weekends on rotation.
• Ability to work independently, organize work, set priorities, follow procedures and complete tasks.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to relate to a diverse group.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties (heating, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Maintain attractive appearance of buildings and grounds; report needs.
• Ensure work is completed professionally and on schedule.
• Provide input on property improvements for budget considerations.
• Participate in site meetings and safety training; work safely at all times.
• Travel to multiple sites and be on-call evenings/weekends on rotation.
