Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, a leading facilities services provider, seeks a General Maintenance Worker II for the Stanford Health Care site in the Palo Alto area. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC disciplines, and collaboration with the client and internal teams.

You will perform site inspections, estimate materials, and help ensure service delivery meets KPI targets. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Must possess applicable certifications/licenses and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Repairs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and minor HVAC as needed.
• Reads safety rules and maintenance instructions; documents activities.
• Participates in on-call rotation, including after-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Maintains client facilities and communicates with Service Delivery and Procurement teams.
• Uses MAXIMO or other work order systems where available.
