EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a General Maintenance Worker I for the Stanford Healthcare Center in San Jose, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs across trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and roofing, ensuring reliable facility operations.

You will lead small projects within a defined territory, work with a proactive team, and maintain strong client relations while meeting safety and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing etc.
• Two years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry; or equivalent.
• Certifications, licenses and valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Lead field inspections and service orders per schedule; obtain materials as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required EFS training.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Utilize routing software and handheld devices to drive productivity and service delivery.
• Provide timely written quotes for work outside basic scope.
• Maintain clear communication with Service Delivery and Procurement teams.
