Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate need for a General Maintenance Worker II in the San Jose/South Bay area, CA. The technician reports to the Assistant Chief Engineer and leads the delivery of services through our supplier network, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Work includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC. A valid driver’s license, required certifications, and the ability to read safety rules are

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Degree / Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc) or Specialty Floor Care preferred.
• Two to five years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Completes defined field inspections and work orders; procures materials.
• Maintains client facilities and performs routine painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks as needed.
• Fully utilizes technology to drive productivity and service delivery; uses MAXIMO where applicable.
• Meets KPI targets for safety, inspections, and customer satisfaction; participates in on-call rotation.
