Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a General Maintenance Worker I for Stanford Healthcare Center in San Jose, CA. The technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds, using multiple trade skills to ensure timely service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• HS diploma or degree/certification or equivalent.
• Requires applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Lead defined field inspections and service orders; coordinate materials.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required training.
• Conduct minor painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks as needed.
• Utilize routing software and ServiceNow to track work orders and productivity.
• Create quotes with Operations Manager for out-of-scope work.
• Maintain timely communication with Service Delivery and Procurement.
