Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services in Palo Alto, CA seeks a General Maintenance Worker I at Stanford Healthcare Center to support the client’s facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs across buildings, equipment, and grounds using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and related trade skills.

Reporting to the Assistant Chief Engineer, you will attend safety meetings, inspect work orders, obtain materials, and help prepare written quotes for work outside the basic scope.

Qualifications

• Two years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and applicable certifications.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Complete field inspections and process work orders.
• Attend weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Perform routine maintenance across facilities including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Provide timely communications with Service Delivery and Procurement.
