Pengate Handling Systems, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing across multiple states. The role supports hourly and salaried staff, reviews timekeeping data, and handles changes, garnishments, and tax inquiries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience, including multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Vantage or ADP Lyric is required.
• Strong understanding of payroll calculations, overtime, tax withholding, deductions, garnishments, and payroll reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process regularly scheduled payroll using ADP Vantage or ADP Lyric, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Review timecards, overtime, paid time off, and other payroll information for accuracy.
• Process payroll changes for new hires, terminations, transfers, and deductions.
• Manage garnishments and other payroll deductions in coordination with internal teams.
• Review payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and make corrections.
• Respond to employee and manager payroll questions with timely support.
• Reconcile payroll records and deductions with HR, Benefits, and Finance.
