Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is a fast-growing multi-specialty dental group with locations across the Southwest. This front office role supports patient education, insurance verification, scheduling multi-specialty treatments, and coordinating referrals.

Responsibilities include communicating treatment plans, handling pre-authorizations, processing payments, and maintaining smooth office operations. Bilingual Spanish required, with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of dental front office experience.
• Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip.
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty.
• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)
• Send Pre-Authorizations
• Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)
• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit Ensure patient payments are collected at time of service.
• Ability to audit chart notes and create claims
• Ability to run end of day reports
• Assist with open and close of the office
• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
• Performs all other duties as assigned
