Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a dental front office team member in Brownsville, TX. You will educate patients on treatments, schedule multi-specialty procedures, and liaise with referring offices. Strong communication is essential to convert planned care to scheduled appointments.

The role requires 1–3 years in a dental front office, knowledge of PPOs/Medicare plans, and bilingual Spanish. Open Dental/Dentrix experience is a plus. Competitive pay and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

1-3 years of dental front office experience required
Knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip
Software experience with Open Dental/Dentrix is helpful
Bilingual (Spanish) is required

Responsibilities

Educate patients on type and extent of treatment needed.
Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty offices (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics).
Communicate treatment details with referring offices via letters and emails.
Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider).
Send Pre-Authorizations.
Explain dental procedures and treatment plans clearly to patients.
Process payments: Cash, Credit & Care Credit; ensure payment at time of service.
Audit chart notes and create claims.
Run end of day reports.
Assist with opening and closing the office.
Daily housekeeping (shared with staff).
Perform other assigned duties as needed
