Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a qualified front desk team member to join our growing multi-specialty dental practice in Texas. The role supports patients, manages scheduling, insurance verification, and communication with referring offices.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years front office experience, knowledge of PPOs/ Medi & CHIP, experience with dental software (Open Dental or Dentrix), and bilingual Spanish. We offer competitive pay and growth opportunities.

• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment in a multi-specialty setting.
• Communicate treatment details with referring offices via letters and emails.
• Process payments (Cash, Credit & Care Credit) at time of service.
• Audit chart notes and assist with claims and end-of-day reports.
• Assist with open/close of the office and daily housekeeping.

• QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
• Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty. (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics)
• Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
• Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)
• Send Pre-Authorizations
• Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)
• Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit Ensure patient payments are collected at time of service.
• Ability to audit chart notes and create claims
• Ability to run end of day reports
• Assist with open and close of the office
• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
• Performs all other duties as assigned
