The role is for a Dental Treatment Coordinator in a busy multi-specialty practice, focusing on educating patients, converting treatment plans to scheduled care, and coordinating with referring offices.

1-3 years of previous dental treatment coordinator experience is required.
Must have knowledge of all dental insurances
Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty. (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics)
Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.
Verify all insurances
Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider)
Send Pre-Authorizations
Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate dental procedures and treatment plans to patients plainly. (Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Implants)
Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit
Ability to audit chart notes and create claims
Ability to run end of day reports
Assist with open and close of the office
Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
Performs all other duties as assigned
Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
Ability to lift up to 15lbs
