Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform PMs and repairs on commercial and industrial facility equipment. You will communicate effectively, follow safety policies, and contribute to a proactive maintenance culture.

Cross-trained with a focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, you will work independently or with a team, and may travel overnight for site needs.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• 4 years’ experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license, forklift operator’s license, JLG operator’s license.

Responsibilities

• Abides by OSHA safety guidelines and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Conducts shift rounds to monitor systems and equipment performance.
• Performs preventative maintenance and major repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems.
• Inspects operating characteristics and identifies failures or wear on equipment components.
• Orders parts and manages vendors; documents results in CMMS and updates PM lists.
• May lead maintenance projects and supervise subcontractors.
