Job summary

In this full-time role you will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and related systems to keep community assets compliant with company standards and laws.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document service requests, manage supplies, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to safety and quality control through meticulous records

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in maintenance-related fields.
• Completion of basic maintenance classes and on-the-job training within one year of hire date.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety and occupational hazards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and related systems; perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on assets.
• Address service requests and document activities.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain tools per SMC's Tool Checklist and ensure quality control standards.
