Job summary

SMC seeks a Service Technician in Maryland to diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and related systems. This full-time role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will document service requests, maintain supplies, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure all work complies with internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in maintenance related field(s).
• Successful completion of Basic Electric class offered at SMC internal training facility.
• Successful completion of all other basic maintenance classes offered internally and all on-the-job training within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Address emergency maintenance as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
