The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain and improve apartment appearances and support a resident-focused team in Largo, FL. You’ll learn new maintenance skills while handling routine repairs, painting, cleaning, and light construction tasks to ensure market-ready units.

You will work under facility guidelines, assist the property manager as needed, and participate in training to meet safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• One year of prior maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willing to attend company-paid certification courses (e.g., pool operator licenses, EPA cert).

Responsabilités

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs to meet company standards and laws.
• Make unoccupied apartments ready for occupancy with repairs, painting, and cleaning.
• Assist the property manager with special projects.
• Contribute to occupancy goals through proactive maintenance.
• Complete maintenance requests and document status and follow‑up.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, and install light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing work including clearing stoppages and basic piping repairs.
• Replace broken components and fixtures as needed.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as door/window repairs and shelving.
• Paint and decorate apartments and common areas as directed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas including lighting and trash removal.
