Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain and improve the property's appearance and operations. You will address repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety measures to support a quality living environment.

You will diagnose issues, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and coordinate with the property team to meet occupancy goals while ensuring compliance with safety policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and follow safety information.
• Ability to work evenings/weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical aspects of the apartment to company standards and laws.
• Prepare unoccupied apartments for occupancy with repairs, painting, cleaning.
• Assist the property manager with special projects as needed.
• Contribute to occupancy goals through maintenance duties and quality service.
• Complete maintenance service requests and document status.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs as needed.
• Replace locks, fixtures, appliances, and perform minor re-piping as required.
• Keep records of preventive maintenance, work orders, and inventories.
• Interact positively with residents and uphold Platinum Service standards.
