Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Naples, FL to support our community by maintaining and improving the property’s appearance and performing scheduled maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities include completing apartment turns, performing repairs, maintaining grounds, and documenting service requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to attend company paid certification courses (e.g., pool operators, boilers license and EPA certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical aspects of the apartment meets company standards and repairs as directed.
• Assist with timely apartment-ready turns; conduct repairs, paint, clean, and other tasks as necessary.
• Complete maintenance service requests and document status for follow-through.
• Assist with maintenance-related repairs (appliances, fixtures, plumbing, flooring, etc.).
• Perform daily maintenance of grounds and communal areas (lighting, snow removal, trash).
• Conduct snow and ice removal and spread de-icer on sidewalks and walkways.
• Manage materials and maintenance equipment.
• Attend and participate in required training seminars.
• Maintain clean and organized shop and storage areas.
• Interact positively with residents to maintain high satisfaction; uphold professionalism.
• Contribute to curb appeal and comply with HUD and OSHA standards.
