Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity and appearance of our multifamily properties in Charlotte, NC. The role covers routine maintenance, safety compliance, and timely response to resident service requests to ensure high-quality living environments.

Responsibilities include completing repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, preparing units for new residents, and supervising vendor work while maintaining

Qualifications

• One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across the property, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and painting.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly using a work order system.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by inspections, punch lists, and coordinating contractor repairs.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces through cleaning, trash removal, and minor repairs.
• Inspect work by vendors to ensure quality and scope, and assist in property inspections.
