Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks a Safety Manager to lead the company’s safety program across locations, directing training, audits, incident reviews, and regulatory compliance. The role requires translating complex regulations into practical field practices and guiding project teams to maintain a safe work environment.

The position features a nationwide travel requirement, collaboration with leadership, and ongoing program improvement within a professional services setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive occupational health and safety experience
• Experience advising leaders to make practical safety decisions
• Experience in professional services, engineering, consulting, industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Build a practical, sustainable safety training path for the firm.
• Provide safety leadership and direction balancing compliance, risk, and client expectations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for safety questions and help teams meet requirements.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Site Safety Coordinators nationwide.
• Develop and implement safety practices, training, and audits across the firm.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state and local laws and client requirements.
• Review incidents, support root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Travel 30%–50% to sites as needed.
