Zusammenfassung

One Medical, a modern primary care organization, is seeking a Flex Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to join our office teams in New York and Brooklyn. You will perform venipuncture and provide essential front-desk support, helping members navigate their care journey.

You’ll balance clinical tasks with administrative duties, ensuring a warm, efficient patient experience across office locations while collaborating with providers and care teams using our digital tools.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6 months of direct phlebotomy experience performing venipuncture and capillary collections.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships and provide client-focused solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams, including remote teams.
• Demonstrated professionalism and empathy during specimen collection.
• Ability to adapt to changing duties and learn quickly in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Aufgaben

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection services for patients across age groups.
• Provide front desk support: patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and outreach tasks.
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, and transport with proper inventory and sterilization.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties and medical record reviews.
• Master the One Medical tech stack (Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR).
• Open/close the office and ensure lobby and workspaces remain on brand and stocked.
• Support multiple offices within a market as a flexible phlebotomist/admin.
