Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Flex Lab Service Specialist/Member Support Specialist to provide venipuncture and clinical support, ensuring an exceptional patient experience at our NY offices. You will be the first contact for patients, assist providers, and maintain a welcoming, on-brand space across multiple offices in a market.

You will perform phlebotomy, support administrative tasks, and engage with patients and teammates using empathy, effective communication, and problem-solving to deliver

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of direct phlebotomy experience performing venipuncture outside training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-centric approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computer technology and multiple software systems.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture services for diverse patient populations (pediatrics to geriatrics).
• Perform/assist with extended scope duties (EKGs, vitals, non-blood specimen collection).
• Maintain accurate specimen labeling, handling, inventory, and sterilization.
• Handle front-of-house tasks including check-in, insurance verification, and scheduling support.
• Support providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties and patient communications.
