Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, insurance and/or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient telephone and computer skills; professional communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between patients, family, medical staff, providers, and admin.
• Obtain and confirm demographic and insurance coverage information.
• Route inquiries, complaints & messages to appropriate parties.
• Assist patients with financial inquiries, including policies and payments.
• Collect co-pays and payments due at the time of service.
• Complete required account, referral and claim workflows in queues.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Provide accurate daily batches and deposits to staff for processing.
• Work at multiple sites with variable shifts.
