Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Patient Service Representative. This full-time admin role greets patients, checks them in/out, schedules visits, and coordinates with clinic staff using NextGen/EHR. The schedule runs day shifts with three 10-hour blocks, and there are no nights or weekends.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of admin or customer service experience, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to CVR NOVA clinics. Spanish fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to clinics.
• Must be able to travel to CVR NOVA Clinics as assigned (Fairfax, Manassas, Reston, McLean, Purcellville).
• Spanish fluency preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out.
• Ensure that CVR policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and implemented by all staff.
• Ensure charts are HIPAA compliant and input demographics, procedures, and payments into NextGen.
• Review scheduling and financial responsibilities and referrals with patients throughout care.
• Send precertification forms to obtain authorization prior to services.
• Close tasks daily, including fee tickets, billing tasks, and operative notes.
• Verify future schedules are preauthorized for treatment.
• Obtain new patient forms and keep records up to date in EHR/NextGen.
• Collect necessary paperwork and copays at time of service.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and collect patient email addresses.
