Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness and proper operation. The role handles service requests, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, with a focus on cost-conscious repairs and accurate documentation.

The position requires a valid driver’s license where applicable, completion of safety trainings, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-site team

Qualifications

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property per policy, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory for maintenance tasks.
• Performs documentation and paperwork timely to document service requests and work performed.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes ready units for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and coordinating repairs.
• Inspects and maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints where needed.
