Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support the maintenance team across multisite properties in Orlando, ensuring safe, clean, and functional living spaces.

You will diagnose and repair building systems, complete make-readies, manage inventory, and assist in safety compliance. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required, with on-call duties and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
• Participates in safety meetings and trainings; reports incidents promptly.
• Inspects work by contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Performs periodic property inspections and communicates needs to management.
