Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building components meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role covers routine maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacants, and keeping common areas in good condition.

You will handle work orders, document work performed, and assist in grounds upkeep while adhering to safety policies. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling (Type 1 & II or Universal).
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks inventory and coordinates materials from the maintenance department.
• Completes documentation to record and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by using parts efficiently and avoiding waste.
