Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards on site in Tigard, OR. The role includes completing work orders, preventive maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, with attention to safety and policy compliance.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, housing discounts, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to diagnose and fix defects per policy and safety standards.
• Familiarity with make-ready processes for vacant units and coordinating vendors.
• Ability to document service requests accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments via pre-move-out inspection and punch list.
• Manage materials and inventory with the maintenance team.
• Assist in grounds upkeep and general cleaning.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts.
