Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a frontline IT support specialist to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across offices, plants, and job sites. You will help maintain AD, servers, file shares, and applications while coordinating equipment deployments and documenting processes.

The role includes travel to job sites and providing remote assistance to users, with strong emphasis on service levels, security, and cross-location collaboration with IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience and/or certifications.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent demonstrated training/experience.
• Microsoft Role-Based Certification (Single-Exam) preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT Service Desk requests promptly to meet SLAs.
• Diagnose and resolve local network and communication issues to maintain reliable operations.
• Maintain local Active Directory OU, network applications, servers, file shares, and network services per policy.
• Assist developing and maintaining IT documentation across locations.
• Coordinate acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Travel to job sites to assist site configuration, setup and problem resolution.
• Provide remote assistance to users and support business applications.
