Job summary

Skywood Recovery Center in Augusta, MI is seeking an on-site IT Support specialist to maintain local networks, support end users, and manage hardware and software.

You will support multi-site environments under UHS, handle Active Directory, Exchange, VoIP, EHR apps, and document processes while providing training and guidance to staff.

Minimum 2–3 years of IT experience with relevant certifications preferred; degree in CS/IT is advantageous. The role emphasizes teamwork and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• MCSE, CCNA, A+, Net+, Security+ or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years relevant IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides Tier 1 and 2 Help Desk support to users.
• Install and support all new and currently used hardware, systems and software.
• Assist with installation, configuration, security and maintenance of network services and access controls.
• Oversee software, network and file security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues with applications, network resources, malware and spam; coordinate with HQ engineers.
• Coordinate with HQ before ordering servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment.
• Provide basic application or process training for IT users.
• Utilize a ticketing system to record and track issues and resolutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for daily, weekly and monthly work processes.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by Corporate IT.
