Job summary

Career Strategies is partnering with an established national real estate organization to hire an experienced HR Manager to support its multi-state, multi-site property operations. You will serve as a key HR partner to corporate and property teams, handling employee relations, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance.

The role requires travel up to 20% and strong knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC and state wage laws.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience
• HR experience within the Property Management industry
• Multi-site, property-level HR experience
• Experience with multi-state payroll & labor compliance
• Strong training and onboarding experience across multiple locations
• Familiarity with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC and state wage laws
• Ability to travel approximately 20%

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for corporate and property-level employees across multiple states
• Manage employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution
• Lead and support training, onboarding, and offboarding across multiple locations
• Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking employees
• Oversee multi-state payroll processes for salaried and hourly employees
• Manage benefits and leave administration, including FMLA and state leaves
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with employment and wage laws
• Partner with Operations and Finance on headcount planning and payroll forecasting
• Coordinate with third-party payroll providers on audits and reconciliations
