Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Senior Leader to plan and direct the operations of Support Services across multiple locations, including ambulatory sites. You will oversee Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, patient transport, linen, guest services, or hospitality, ensuring high-quality, compliant service.

Responsibilities include budgeting, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with department stakeholders to drive efficiency and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Healthcare Management, Business or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience leading an environmental service and/or nutrition services team in healthcare.
• Supervisory experience required.
• CDM certification (CRT-Dietary Manager) required.

Responsibilities

• Manages those who schedule, assign and distribute work among department employees.
• Establishes and communicates appropriate quality standards for designated services and programs; implements procedures for measuring quality standards.
• Oversees Nutrition Services, coordinating menus, purchasing, storage, inventory and compliance with guidelines.
• Designs, implements and maintains policies for Support Services reflecting regulatory guidelines.
• Oversees Environmental Services inspections, repairs, and supply management to enable proper housekeeping services.
• Facilitates training and development of employees; supports supervision and evaluation of staff.
• Develops, implements, and maintains departmental annual operating budgets.
