Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a senior operations leader to direct Support Services across multiple locations, including ambulatory sites. This role ensures high-quality services to patients, visitors and staff, with accountability for regulatory compliance, fiscal stewardship, and performance improvement.

The position collaborates with other departments, leads staff development, and oversees annual budgets to support the organization’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (or equivalent education and experience) in Healthcare Management, Business or related field
• 5 years of relevant experience Leading an environmental service and/or nutrition services team in the health care industry
• Supervisory experience
• Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through related experience
• CDM Certification (CRT-Dietary Manager) or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling, assignment, and distribution of work among department staff
• Sets and communicates quality standards; implements quality measurement procedures
• Oversees Nutrition Services: menu planning, procurement, storage, and meal service per guidelines
• Designs policies for compliance with corporate, best practice and regulatory guidelines
• Oversees Environmental Services: condition assessment and supply management
• Leads training and development for staff; provides direction and support
• Prepares and manages departmental annual operating budgets
