Job summary

Hebrew Senior Life in Boston is seeking a Floating Culinary Associate to support multiple schedules, campuses and assignments under the Culinary & Nutrition Manager. You will prepare and serve meals per established recipes, maintain portion control, and follow Kosher regulations to ensure quality dining experiences for patients and residents.

In this role you will communicate effectively with supervisory staff, assist with inventory and food handling, and participate in safety and infection

Qualifications

• Under the direction of a Culinary & Nutrition Manager, Floating Culinary Associate provides support across schedules and campuses.
• Follows Kosher regulations and established nutrition guidelines.
• Plates and serves food according to recipes with proper portion control.
• Maintains temperature logs and adherence to safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Runs decentralized dining or main kitchen duties as assigned.
• Transports food and supplies to and from kitchens as directed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Communicates production needs and waste to supervision for adjustments.
• Attends regular meetings and serves as a resource to staff and students.
