Job summary

The Mishkon Division of Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services seeks a Culinary Service Assistant Manager to oversee meal service across residential programs and the Mishkon campus. You will supervise kitchen staff, ensure recipes and diets are followed, and support clinical teams in kosher and medical diet compliance.

Responsibilities include site visits, menu execution, staff onboarding, budgeting assistance, and ensuring food safety standards across programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of food service operations experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food service across multiple sites and campus.
• Supervise cooks and food service staff; onboarding and scheduling.
• Ensure kosher and therapeutic diets are followed; audits and compliance.
• Monitor inventory, ordering of supplies, and budget alignment.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for individualized dietary needs.
