Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife in Dedham, MA is seeking a dining services team member to warmly serve meals in the dining rooms, preset tables, and maintain a clean, organized dining area while respecting resident dignity and preferences.

You will work with colleagues to follow sanitation schedules, assist with menu offerings, learn the art of food service, and participate in ongoing training to support geriatric residents and their families.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Presets tables in assigned area and follows serving and cleaning procedures as outlined in the Culinary Services manual.
• Being courteous to the members at all times, taking member food orders, serving food, bussing table and resetting table once member has departed.
• Follows daily sanitation cleaning schedules and maintains a neat, orderly dining area at all times.
• Attends in-service training and cooperates with co-workers to ensure a smoothly run department.
• Learn the art of food serving, communicate well with people, and act as an advocate for residents as needed.
