Qualifications include a High School Degree, certification as a Food Handler within 6 months, and preferred experience in quality food service operations in healthcare. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service to all who utilize the decentralized dining program.
• Transports food and non-food items to and from assigned unit kitchens as directed.
• Ensures that all food is properly served according to established recipes.
• Ensures all foods are held and served at proper temperatures.
• Conducts pre-meal meeting with care team for menu understanding.
• Ensures Kosher regulations are followed on kosher units.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains work areas and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service to all who utilize the service of the decentralized dining program.


• Transports food and non-food items to and from assigned unit kitchens as directed.


• Ensures that all food is properly served according to the established recipes, utilizing proper portion control.


• Ensures all foods are held and served at proper temperatures and are attractively presented.


• Conducts pre‑meal meeting with care team to ensure they understand the meal’s menu offerings.


• Ensures that all Kosher regulations are understood and followed on kosher units.


• Ensure that all work areas, storage areas, utensils and equipment are cleaned, sanitized and maintained in an orderly fashion according to the latest regulatory (State, Federal and Kosher) requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.


• Food Handler aware certification required or obtained within 6 months of starting the position.


• At least one year in a quality food service operation in a healthcare setting preferred.

Salary Range

$15.26 - $21.37
